Extensive research and study have confirmed that Deluun Boldog marks the birthplace of the legendary Genghis Khan. In 1162, Temuujin, who would later become known as Genghis Khan, was born at this significant historical site. Deluun Boldog is nestled near the junction of the Onon and Balj Rivers in present-day Dadal Soum, and it stands as a lasting testament to the early life of this revered figure.
